The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is a non-profit international organization founded in 1946 with the aim of sharing the ideals and values of the United Nations with civil society around the world. WFUNA oversees United Nations associations in more than 100 countries around the world and has been at the forefront of communicating and building consensus on the UN's mission for more than 80 years.
In particular, the Seoul Office, which oversees the Asia-Pacific region, focuses on identifying and fostering innovative ideas for sustainable development. One of its flagship activities is CITYPRENEURS, a global entrepreneurship competition launched in 2017 to support startups that help solve urban problems and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
